The A1469 is oneOptimize Hall-effect sensorsIC, which provides a user-friendly solution for digital ring magnet sensing applications, and can also be used for magnetic coupling, ferromagnetic target sensing, and three-wire applications. This small package device can be easily integrated into applications of different shapes and sizes.
The integrated circuit uses dual Hall-effect elements with a pitch of 2.2 mm and signal processing elements that switch in response to differential electromagnetic signals formed by ring poles. This loop contains a complex digital loop that reduces system offset, calibrates gain at switching points independent of air gap, and enables true zero speed operation. Signal optimization is achieved through a combination of offset and gain adjustment at power-on and maintained throughout operating time with run-mode calibration. Operational mode calibration provides isolation from environmental effects, such as micro-vibrations of the target or sudden changes in air gap.
The device is ideal for obtaining speed and duty cycle information in toroidal magnet-type speed, position, and timing applications such as speedometers.
The A1469 is available in a 4-pin SIP (suffix K) package. The package is lead-free and features 100% matte tin plating.
