The A1469 is an optimized Hall effect sensor IC that provides a user-friendly solution for digital ring magnet sensing applications, and can also be used for magnetic coupling, ferromagnetic target sensing, and three-line applications. This compact packaged device can be easily integrated into applications of various shapes and sizes.

The integrated circuit uses dual Hall effect elements with 2.2 mm spacing and signal processing elements, which can switch in response to differential electromagnetic signals formed by the ring-shaped magnetic poles. This loop includes complex digital loops that reduce system offset, calibrate gain at switching points independent of air gaps, and enable true zero speed operation. When powered on, signal optimization is achieved through a combination of offset and gain adjustments, and the operation mode calibration is used throughout the operating time to maintain optimization. Operating mode calibration provides isolation of environmental effects, such as micro-vibrations of the target or sudden changes in air gaps.

This device is an ideal choice for obtaining speed and duty cycle information in ring-shaped magnet-type speed, position, and timing applications such as speedometers.

The A1469 uses a 4-pin SIP (suffix K) package. This package is a lead-free product made with 100% matte tin plating.
