The A3901 is a full-bridge typeElectric motor driverfor low-voltage portable applications involving bipolar stepper or brushed DC motors. This output is best suited for low voltage dips, with currents up to ±400 mA (equivalent to a parallel output of ±800 mA) and an operating voltage range of 2.5 to 5.5 volts.
(IN1 to IN4) four inputs can control full-step and half-step modesBipolar stepper motor, or DC motors in forward, reverse, and brake modes. Input pulse width modulation (PWM) can be controlled for current or speed up to 250 kHz.

The A3901 is packaged in a 10-pin MLP package labeled 3 x 3 x 0.75 mm with an exposed thermal conductive spacer ("EJ" package). The small package is Pb-free and has 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
