The ADP150 is an ultra-low noise (9 μV), low-dropout linear regulator that operates from a 2.2 V to 5.5 V supply with a maximum output current of 150 mA. With a dropout of only 105 mV when driving a 150 mA load, this low dropout not only improves efficiency but also allows the device to operate over a wide input voltage range.

The ADP150 uses a novel circuit topology to achieve ultra-low noise performance without the need for additional noise bypass capacitors, making it ideal for noise-sensitive analog and RF applications. The ADP150 provides ultra-low noise performance without compromising its power supply rejection (PSRR) or line-to-load transient response performance. It achieves the optimal combination of ultra-low noise and low quiescent power consumption, allowing for maximum battery life in portable applications. The ADP150 is designed to operate reliably with a small ceramic input and output capacitance of 1 μF ± 30% for high-performance, space-constrained applications.

It is available with 14 fixed output voltage options ranging from 1.8 V to 3.3 V. Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuitry prevents damage to the device under adverse conditions. Available in 5-pin TSOT and 4-pin, 0.4 mm pitch WLCSP packages, the ADP150 is the industry's smallest solution for a wide range of portable power delivery applications.
