The DS15BR400/DS15BR401 four-lane LVDS buffer/repeater has data rate capability up to 2 Gbps. High-speed data path and flow simplify board layout by reducing jitter of devices inside the pins, while pre-emphasizing overcoming the effects of backplane and cable jitter from the lossy ISI. Differential input interfaces, LVDS and bus LVDS signals, such as those of the 10-, 16- and 18-bit buses LVDS SerDes as well as CML and LVPECL. The DS15BR400 with differential inputs and outputs terminates internal 100Ω resistors to improve performance and reduce board space. The DS15BR401 has no input termination resistors. The repeater function is particularly useful for improving the distance transmission signal to lossy longer cables and backplanes.

The DS15BR400/DS15BR401 is powered from a single 3.3V supply and consumes 578 milliwatts (typical). They operate over the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range and are available in space-saving LLP-32 and TQFP-48 packages.
