LMV393 and LMV339 have low-voltage (2.7–5V) dual-core and quad-comparators, LM393/339, which is the version specified for 5–30V. The LMV331 is a single version, saving space in the 5-pin SC70 and 5-pin SOT23 packages. The 5-pin SC70 is about half the size of a 5-pin SOT23 package.

The LMV393 offers 8-pin SOIC and MSOP. The LMV339 offers a 14-pin SOIC and TSSOP.

The LMV331/393/339 is the most cost-effective solution, with space, low voltage, low power consumption, and price as the main specifications for the design of portable consumer products in circuits. They provide specifications that reach or exceed a fraction of the power current familiar with LM393/339.

The chip is established with the state's advanced sub-micron silicon gate BiCMOS process. The LMV331/393/339 improves noise performance through bipolar input and output phases.
