MPXV7002GC6T1 integrated pressuresensor

The MPXV7002 series of small form factor (SOP) piezoresistive sensors is the latest monolithic silicon pressure sensor that can be used in a wide range of applications, especially those using microcontrollers or microprocessors with A/D inputs. This patented single-element sensor combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization, and bipolar processes to provide an accurate, high-level analog output signal proportional to the pressure being measured.

The MPXV7002 can be used to measure both positive and negative pressure. In addition, instead of the conventional 0V with a specific 2.5V zero offset, the new series of sensors allows to measure pressures up to 7 kPa per port and is also suitable for vacuum sensing (see Transfer Functions in the datasheet for details).
