XC9119D10AER-G 1MHz PWM control, boost DC/DCconverter, compatible with ceramic capacitors
The XC9119D10A series are 1MHz, PWM-controlled step-up DC/DC converters that use ceramic capacitors. With a built-in 2.0Ω switch, the XC9119D10A series can easily obtain a boost circuit by connecting an external inductor, a diode, a capacitor, and a resistor.
Output voltages up to 19.5V (maximum Lx operating voltage: 20V) can be obtained from a 1.0V (±2.0%) reference voltage and a voltage divider resistor, and can be used in general-purpose high-voltage power supplies, LCD panels, and organic EL display power supplies.
Switching frequencies up to 1.0MHz allow the use of chip inductors and ultra-small ceramic capacitors, thereby reducing board area and thickness.
The series features a current limit function (400mA(TYP.): VDD=3.6V) that limits the peak current flowing through the built-in switch transistor. The soft-start time can be adjusted with external resistors and capacitors. The standby function enables the output to be turned off (CE'L'), at which point the chip will consume less than 1.0A.
