The TAS5142 is a third-generation, high-performance, integrated stereo digital amplifier power stage with a complete protection system. The TAS5142 is capable of driving 4 -Bridging up to load (BTL) low noise output integration of 100 watts per channel, low THD+N performance and low power idle.

A low-cost, hi-fi system can be built using TI's chipset, including a modulator (e.g., TAS5508) and TAS5142. This system requires only a simple passive LC filter, demodulated and proven EMI compliant to provide high-quality, high-efficiency audio amplification. This unit requires two power supplies of 12 GVDD and VDD V and 32 V power supply for PVDD. The TAS5142 does not require a power-up sequence due to internal power-on reset.
