Product Introduction

The TMP441 is a +/-23°C temperature sensor with automatic beta compensation, in-series resistance, and N-Factor in a SOT23-8 package

The TMP441 and TMP442 have a remote temperature monitor and a built-in local temperature sensor. Remote temperature sensor diodes are typically low-cost, NPN-or PNP-type transistors or diodes that are part of a microcontroller, microprocessor, or field-programmable gate array (FPGA).

Remote accuracy of ± 1°C from multiple IC manufacturers without the need for calibration. The two-wire serial interface accepts SMBus write-byte, read-byte, send-byte, and receive byte commands to configure the device.

The TMP441 has an address pin for a single remote temperature monitoring. The TMP442 has dual remote temperature monitoring and is available with two different interface addresses.
