Description/Ordering Information

The AM26LV32E consists of a three-state output line receiver with a four-differential equation. These differential receivers feature RS422 bus pin protection ± 15 kV ESD (HBM and IEC61000 - 4 - 2 air gap discharge) and ± 8 kV ESD (compliant with IEC61000 - 4 - 2 contact discharge).

This device is designed to meet TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU recommendations with reduced supply voltage .11 drivers. The device is optimized for a balanced bus transfer rate when switching to 32 MHz. The three-state output allows direct connection to a bus-organized system.

The AM26LV32E has an internal fault protection circuit that prevents an unknown voltage signal from being output to the device at the receiving end. The corresponding output is generated when the fail-safe, short-circuit fault protection is turned on, and the fail-safe, high state is terminated.

This device is supported for partial power loss app use by mefinish IcloseDisable the output circuit to prevent a power failure from damaging the return current when passing through the device.
