ISO1176 is an isolated differential line designed in PROFIBUS transceiver applications. The device is ideal because long transmission lines are broken ground loops for having a larger common-mode voltage range. The isolation barrier for each device is symmetrical for testing, providing 2500 lines between the transceiver and logic level interface to isolate the VRMS.

An electrically isolated differential bus transceiver is an integrated circuit designed for bidirectional data multipoint bus transmission line communication. The transceiver combines galvanically isolated differential line drivers and receiver differential input lines. The driver has made high effective isolet country to the ISODE pin (pin 10) for convenient directional control output.
