The SN65HVD230, SN65HVD231 and SN65HVD232 controller area network (CAN) transceivers are designed for use with the Texas Instruments TMS320Lx240x; 3.3 - V, DSP with CAN controller, or equivalent device. They are intended to be used in applications employing people in accordance with the physical layer of CAN serial communication with the ISO 11898 standard. Each CAN transceiver design provides differential transmit capability, bus and differential receive speeds up to 1 Mbps CAN controller capability.

Designed to operate in special-harsh environments, these devices feature cross-wire protection, loss of ground and overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, and a wide common-mode range.
