The TAS5706A/B is a 20-watt, high-efficiency, digitally driven stereo bridge speaker audio power amplifier. Two serial data inputs allow processing of up to four discrete audio channels and integrate seamlessly into most digital audio processors and MPEG decoders, receiving input data and clocking over a wide range of clock frequencies. A fully programmable data path allows these channels to be routed to the internal speaker driver or PWM output via woofer or headphone output.

The TAS5706A/B is the only device of a slave that receives all clocks from external sources. The TAS5706A/B operates at 384 kHz switching speeds of 32-, 48-, 96-, and 192 kHz data, and switches at 352.8 kHz for 44.1-, 88.2-, and 176.4 kHz data transfer rates. 8 × sampling combined with a fourth-order noise shaper provides a noise floor in units from 20 Hz and an excellent dynamic range of 20 kHz.
