The TPA6012A4 features a 2W stereo audio power amplifier with advanced DC volume control

The TPA6012A4 is a stereo audio power amplifier driven to 3 3 watts per power continuous rms channel -Load. Advanced DC volume control with minimal external components and allows BTL (Speaker) volume control and SE (Headphones) volume control. The integrated features of LCD displays and laptops minimize external components without sacrificing functional benefits.

To simplify the design, the volume adjustment of the speaker uses DC voltage to roll terminals. To ensure a smooth transition between active and shutdown modes, fade in mode skews volume up and down.
