The TPS40131 is a two-phase synchronous buck controller thatis optimized for low output voltage, from 1 to V and 40 V to a multiphase converter offering multiple advantages in single-supply power supplies, including stage high output current applications with low current at input and output capacitance ripple, faster transient response to load steps, improved power handling capability and higher system efficiency.

Each stage can be maintained at switching frequencies up to 1MHz, generating megahertz at an effective input and output ripple frequency of up to 2. The two stages of work are 180 degrees out of phase.
