TPS43000

(buck, boost, SEPIC type) high frequency DC/DC controller

The TPS43000 is a high frequency, voltage mode, synchronous PWM controller that can be used in buck, boost, SEPIC or flyback topologies. This highly flexible, full-featured controller is designed to drive one (one N-channel and one P-channel) to an external MOSFET, using it within favorable output voltage and power ranges. With automatic PFM mode, shutdown less than 1 microampere, sleep mode less than 100 microamps, and the entire operation less than 2 mA current at 1 MHz, it is ideal for setting up high-efficiency, DC-to-DC converters.

The TPS43000 operates over a wide input voltage range of 1.8 V to 9.0 V, and typical sources of power are distributed power systems, 2 to 4 nickel or alkaline batteries, or a pair of two Li-Ion batteries.
