This is a low cost, high voltage OPA549 op amp ideal for driving a wide variety of loads at high currents.This laser-trimmed microcontroller provides excellent low-level signal accuracy and high output voltage and current.

The OPA549 operates from either single or dual supplies for design flexibility.The common-mode input range below extends the negative supply.

The conditions and current protection inside the OPA549 prevent overload and overheating.In addition, an accurate, aperture OPA549 current limit is provided.Unlike other designs, which use a "force" resistor in series with an output current path, the OPA549 senses the indirect impact of the load.This allows current limiting to be adjusted from 0A to 10A resistors/potentiometers or to control the digital with voltage-out or current-out digital-to-analog converters (DACs).
