Charged pump in a 3x3 QFN package, 3 channels for LED backlighting, and 75mA stable current

illustrate   TPS60231 charge pump optimized display color for white LED supplies for backlight applications. The device provides each LED with an initial value that can be set to a constant current via an external resistor. The supply voltage range is 2.7 V to 6.5 V and is ideal for all applications powered by a single lithium-ion battery or three to four nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride or alkaline batteries. With an input voltage range of 3.1 V to 6.5 V, the device provides high outputs of up to 25 and 75 mA total LED currents. High efficiency is combined by utilizing a 1x/1.5x fractional conversion technology with a very low dropout current source.
