The TPS6030x boost-regulated charge pump generates an output voltage from 0.9 to 3 V to ± 4% or 3.3 to V to an ±output voltage of 1.8 V to an input voltage of 1.8 V (an alkaline, NiCd or NiMH battery).

Only five small 1 uF ceramic capacitors are required to build a complete high efficiency DC/DC charge pump converter. To achieve high efficiency over a wide input voltage range, the conversion mode between 3x or 4x of the charge pump is automatically selected.
