Product introduction

The OPA2670 provides high output current and low distortion required for emerging xDSL and powerline modem driver applications. Operating from a single +12 V supply, the OPA2670 consumes a low quiescent current of 30.5 mA to provide a very high output current of 700mA. This output current supports even the most demanding larger output currents exceeding the xDSL requirements of four to five milliamps with low harmonic distortion (+25°C minimum). In differential driver applications, ADSL upstream power levels provide full peak rates with less than -71dBc distortion. The high bandwidth of 320MHz also supports the most demanding VDSL2 line driver requirements.

The power control function allows the system to include power to a minimum.
