Product Introduction

UCC39002 is an advanced, high-performance and low-cost load sharing controller that provides all the necessary functions to connect multiple independent power supplies or DC-to-DC modules in parallel. In high-reliability applications in servers, workstations, telecommunications and other distributed power systems, controllers are used in applications where N+1 redundancy systems or high places are needed to parallel off-the-shelf power supplies.

The UC3902 and UC3907 load sharing controllers with BiCMOS UCC39002 are based on an automated master/slave architecture. It is better than 1% by using a very low offset rear pack trimmed current sense amplifier and a high-gain negative feedback loop, which is currently a shared error between full-load modules.
