The LM34910C step of the switching regulator is required to implement all the functions of a low cost, high efficiency, buck bias regulation that provides a load capacity of 1.25A. This buck regulator contains a 55V N-channel buck switch in a thermally enhanced LLP-10 package. Regulatory lag, no loop compensation, fast load transient response results, and simplified circuit design. The operating frequency remains dependent on the line and load due to the inverse relationship between input voltage and on-time. The current limit is set at 1.25A. Other features include VCC undervoltage lockout, overtemperature shutdown, gate drive undervoltage lockout, and maximum duty cycle limit.
