The SDT470 consists of an LED optocoupled into a ULTR miniature 4-pin SSOP package with a phototransistor. The high isolation level of the input-output coupling LED and phototransistor between the light can maintain a low level of DC signal control capability at the same time. The SDT470 provides an optical isolation method for many interface applications that control applications such as telecommunications, industrial control and instrumentation circuits where saving board space is critical.
