The LM5001 high-voltage switch-mode regulator features to enable efficient high-voltage boost, flyback, SEPIC and transponders with few external components. This easy-to-use regulator integrates a 1 amp peak current limit of 75 volts, N-channel MOSFETs. Current-mode control provides inherent simple loop compensation and superior input transient suppression line voltage feedforward. Its switching frequency is set to a resistor and programmable up to 1.5MHz. The oscillator can also be synchronized to an external clock. Other protection features include: current limit, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and remote shutdown. The device is available in two SO-8 and LLP-8 packages.
