The LM5575 IS AN EASY-TO-USE SIMPLE SWITCHER ® BUCK REGULATOR THAT ALLOWS DESIGN ENGINEERS TO DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE A ROBUST POWER SUPPLY WITH A MINIMAL SET OF COMPONENTS. With 6 input voltage ranges - 75V, the LM5575 provides a continuous output with an integrated 330mΩn channel MOSFET current of 1.5A. The regulator uses an analog current-mode architecture that provides no inherent line gauge inherent in the low duty cycle general limitations associated with current-mode regulators, accurate load transient response, and loop compensation mitigation. The operating frequency is adjustable from 50kHz to 500kHz for optimized size and efficiency. To reduce electromagnetic interference, the frequency sync pin allows self-synchronization from multiple ICs of the LM(2)557x family to an external clock. The robust LM5575 guarantees cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown. The device offers a thermal pad in a power supply with an enhanced TSSOP-16 package with exposed die bonding. The LM5575 is a complete suite of supported WEBENCH online design tools.
