The LM809/810 microprocessor supervisory circuit can be used to monitor the power supply of microprocessors and digital systems. They provide a reset microprocessor during power-up, power-down, and undervoltage conditions.

The LM809/810 function is Monitor VCCSupply voltage and assert that the reset signal drops below the factory-programmed reset threshold when this voltage drops. The reset signal is still 240ms after asserting VCCabove thresholds. There is an active LM809 low RESET# output, while the LM810 has a high active reset output.

Seven standard reset voltages are available to monitor suitable 5V, 3.3V, and 3V supply voltages.

With a low supply current of only 15μA, the LM809/810 is ideal for portable equipment. The LM809/LM810 are available in 3-pin SOT23 packages and 6-pin LLP packages.
