The LM5037 PWM controller contains all functions such as push-pull, half-bridge and full-bridge to implement a balanced two-ended power converter topology. These two-ended topologies allow for higher efficiency and greater power density than common single-ended flyback topologies and are forward-looking. The LM5037 can be configured for voltage- or current-mode external component control with minimal external components. Two alternating gate drive outputs are provided with peak output current per 1.2A. The LM5037 can be configured directly from a wide range input voltage rail above 13V to 100V. Other features include programmable maximum duty cycle limit, line undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, hiccup mode, adjustable timeout delay, soft-start, and 2 MHz synchronization for accurate reference and thermal vibration fail-safe shutdown.
