LM2841 and LM2842 PWM DC/DC buck (step-down) regulators. Wide input voltage range from 4.5V - 42V for applications such as air conditioning from a wide range of power unregulated sources. They are characterized by a low R_DSON（0.9Ωtypical) internal switches (85% typical) for maximum efficiency. The operating frequencies are fixed at 550 kHz (X version) and 1.25 MHz (Y version), allowing the use of small external components while still enabling low output voltage ripple. Soft-start can be achieved using an external RC circuit that allows the user to adjust the shutdown pin to a specific application's soft-start time.

The LM2842 optimizes load currents up to 600 mA, while the LM2841 optimizes load currents up to 300 mA. Both have a nominal feedback voltage of 0.765V.

Other features include thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout V, and gate drive undervoltage lockout. The LM2841 and LM2842 are available in the low-profile TSOT-6L package.
