The DP83848M also provides Auto-MDIX to remove wiring complications. The DP83848M has excellent ESD protection, larger than 4KV human body model, providing extremely high reliability and robust operation, ensuring a high level of performance in all applications.
The National DP83848M system incorporates a range of features that reduce the physical layer of other vendors' products that are not available. For example, the DP83848M incorporates a 25MHz clock, eliminating the need for space and therefore cost, additional media access control (MAC), and clock source components. In addition, support for MII and RMII ensures ease of use and flexibility in the design.
The DP83848M is available in a compact 6mm 6mm x law firm 40-pin package and is ideal for industrial control, building/factory automation, transportation, test equipment and wireless base stations.
