® The LT 1182/LT1183 are dual current mode switching regulators that provide contrast control for cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) and liquid crystal displays (LCDs). The LT1184/LT1184F only provide the functionality of CCFL. The integrated circuit includes high-current, high-efficiency switches, an oscillator, a reference, output driver logic, control blocks, and protection circuitry. The LT1182 licenses contrast operation for positive or negative voltage LCD displays. The LT1183 allows internal reference unipolar comparison operation and pins. The LT1182/LT1183 support both ground and floating light configurations. The LT1184F supports both grounded and floating light configurations. The LT1184 only supports grounded lamp configurations
