The LM3881 power sequencer provides the easiest way to control multiple power supplies (switching or linear regulators) with and without power. With amazing startup sequences, it is possible to avoid latch-up conditions or large inrush currents that may affect the reliability of the system.

MSOP-8 package, power sequencer with precision enable pins and three open-drain output flags. After the LM3881 is enabled with three output flags, they will be released sequentially, and after an individual time delay, allow the connected power to boot. The output flags are powered off in reverse order to avoid latch-up conditions. Defines the time delay that can be reversed by the user using an external capacitor and output flag state.
