LMH0044 SMPTE 292M / 259M Adaptive Cable Equalizer The data transmitted by the equalizer cable (or any media with similar dispersion loss characteristics) is a monolithic integrated circuit. The equalizer operates over a wide range from 125 Mbps to 1.485 Gbps and supports data rates of SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M and SMPTE 259M.

LMH0044 achieve DC recovery to properly handle pathological data conditions (DC recovery may bypass low data rate applications). The equalizer can be driven midrange or differential in any single configuration.

Other features include separate carrier detection and output, which may be bundled with the output mute, and silence pins present when there is no signal. Provides a programmable mute reference and muted signal attenuation selection output.
