The LM837 is a four-channel op-amp designed for low-noise, high-speed, wide-bandwidth performance. It has a new type of output stage that can drive a 600 load, making it ideal for almost all digital audio, graphic equalizers, preamps and professional audio applications. Its high-performance characteristics also make it suitable for instrumentation applications, where low noise is a key consideration.
The LM837 internally compensates for unit gain operation. This is the most standard quad op amp pin compatible, so it can be used to upgrade existing systems with little or no variation.
