The LTC ® 1263 is a regulated 12V, 60mA output DC/DC converter. It provides 12V ± 5% output with the necessary planned double-byte full flash memory. The output does not use any inductors and provides a low input voltage of up to 4.75V of 60 mA. Only 4 external capacitors need to complete a very small, surface-mount circuit. The output can be short-circuited to ground at any time and damaged parts. The active, high-TTL-compatible shutdown pin can be connected directly to a microprocessor. In shutdown, the supply current typically drops to 0.5μA. The LTC1263 is available in an 8-pin SO package.
