The LM4927 is a fully differential audio power amplifier designed primarily for demanding applications in mobile phones and other portable communications devices. It is capable of delivering 2.5 watts of continuous power of 4 Load less than 10% distortion (THD+N) from one_{5V DC}Power supply.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high quality output power with very few external components. The LM4927 does not require output coupling capacitors or starting capacitors, making it ideal for use in mobile phones and other low voltage applications where minimum power consumption is a major requirement.

The LM4927 has a low-power shutdown mode. To facilitate this work, shutdown enables logic low. In addition, the LM4927 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism.

The LM4927 includes advanced POP and click-and-click noise cancellation circuitry that would otherwise occur when switching on and off.
