The LMV116 (single) rail-to-rail output voltage feedback amplifier provides high speed (45MHZ) in addition to micropower shutdown capability (LMV118) and low voltage operation (2.7V).

Each rail in the output voltage range is 20mV, allowing wide dynamic range, especially in low voltage applications. Even with a low supply current of 600μA, the output current capability is saved at a respectable ±20 mA for driving heavier loads. Important equipment parameters such as bandwidth, slew rate, and output current are kept relatively independent of the combination of operating supply voltages for process improvements and design architectures.

For portable applications, the LMV118 provides shutdown capability while maintaining shutdown current at l5μA. Both sides on and off are characterized by good performance with minimal output fluctuations during conversion. This enables parts that are used in power-saving modes as well as multiplexing applications. Miniature packages (SOT23-5 and SOT23-6) to ease the board area premium in these low-power high-speed devices in applications are further means.
