Overview:
The TSL4531 device home provides an ambient light sensor (ALS) that responds close to the human eye in a variety of lighting conditions. The device has three selectable integration times and provides direct 16-bit lux outputs via the I2C-bus interface. The wide dynamic range of ALS makes it particularly useful for outdoor applications where it is exposed to direct sunlight. The device is ideal for utilizing automatic control of street lights and safety, billboards, automotive lighting. The TSL4531 device can also be used for solid-state and general lighting automatic control and daylight harvesting to maximize energy savings. Other applications include mobile phones, tablets, and laptops to extend battery life and optimize visibility display backlight control. Product Features:
