MAX4032 5V, 6dB video buffer, with sync head clamp output SAG correction, and a low-power shutdown mode is available in tiny SOT23 and SC70 packages. The MAX4032 of the depression correction output is designed to drive AC-coupled, 150Ω back-terminated video loads in portable video applications such as digital video camcorders, portable DVD players, digital camcorders, PDAs, video-capable mobile phones, portable gaming systems, and notebook computers. The introduction of the SAG correction feature reduces the low-frequency compensation of the typically bulky and expensive AC-coupling capacitor values of both small, cheaper 22μF capacitors and 330μF. The input clamp locates the video output waveform and allows the MAX4032 to be used as an AC or DC coupled output driver.

MAX4032 operates from a single +5 V supply and consumes only 6.5 mA of supply current. A low-power shutdown mode delivers 150nA of supply current, making it ideal for low-voltage, battery-powered video applications MAX4032.

MAX4032 is available in tiny 6-pin SOT23 and SC70 packages and specified over the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
