At the MAX4214/MAX4215/MAX4217/MAX4219/MAX4222 precision, the closed-loop gain is +2 (or -1), high slew rate, high output current driver, and highLow differential gainand a buffer for phase error. They operate from a single 3.15V to 11V supply or dual ±1.575V ±5.5V supplies. Input common-mode voltage range beyond 100mV negative rails with rail-to-rail output swings.

These devices require a -3dB bandwidth of 230MHz and a slew rate of 600V/μs of only 5.5 mA quiescent supply current. In addition, the MAX4215/MAX4219 feature a disable feature that reduces supply current by 400μA to the buffer. The input voltage noise is only 10nV per hertz and the input current noise is only 1.3pA per hertz. This buffer family is ideal for applications where low-power/low-voltage requires wide bandwidth, such as video, communications, instrumentation systems. For space-sensitive applications, the MAX4214 is a small 5-pin SOT23 package.
