- Unique, factory lithography and tested 64-bit registration numbers (8-bit family code, 36-bit sequence, 12-bit UniqueWare identifier 5E7h, 8-bit CRC checksum) guarantee absolute traceability because no two devices are the same
- EPROM is divided into 256-bit page random access packet data records
- Each memory page can be permanently write-protected to prevent tampering
- Devices are 'only' memory to add additional data that can be divided into EPROM programming without interfering with existing data
- Control, address, data, power and programming signals are reduced to a single pin
- The 8-bit family code specifies the communication needs of the device, the reader
- When the detection response is detected, the reader is applied to the voltage for the first time
- Read a wide voltage range of 2.8V from -40°C to 6.0V to +85°C

UniqueWareIThe pushbutton factory programmed (1024-bit) versions of the DS1982 and DS1985 (16KB) are added onlyIbutton. They differ from the 12-bit identifier 5E7h in their custom ROM Family Code regular devices (see ordering information) and UniqueWare in place in the field of standard serialization. For technical details of the device, refer to the DS1982 and DS1985 datasheets:
UniqueWare joinsIThe buttons only provide customer-specific, write-protected data pre-programming. UniqueWare data is populated with at least one, but longer than the first two pages of the device, depending on the length of the data provided by the customer.
UniqueWare devices are only available to existing customers. New data schemas are no longer accepted. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 34,000 pieces with a higher quantity in multiples of 17,000 pieces. UniqueWareIButtons can only be purchased in bags for delivery, in bulk form. The shipment quantity can be added or subtracted by 10% of the order quantity. The shipment quantity will be billed.
