The LM3445 is an adaptive constant off-time AC/DC step-down (step-down) constant current controller designed to be compatible with triacs dimmers. The LM3445 provides a high power LED lighting constant current, including a triac dim decoder. The dim decoder allows extensive use of standard TRIAC dimming LED dimmers. The high-frequency capability architecture allows the use of small external passive components. The LM3445 includes a voltage divider circuit to ensure that the current thyristor is allowed to operate correctly while the line voltage is low, allowing the triac to fire correctly. The passive PFC circuit ensures that the buck regulator is currently available directly from the drawing for the cycle line and provides a constant positive voltage. Other features include thermal shutdown, current limit, and V_CCUndervoltage lockout.
