illustrate
Ideal for space-critical applications, the LM4040 precision voltage reference is available in ultra-compact SC70 and SOT-23 surface-mount packages. The advanced design of the LM4040 eliminates the need for external stabilizing capacitors while ensuring stability with any capacitive load, making the LM4040 easy to use. Further reducing the design work is the availability of several fixed reverse breakdown voltages: 2.048V, 2.500V, 3.000V, 4.096V, 5.000V, 8.192V, and 10.000V. The minimum operating time from 60μA LM4040 - 2.5 to 100 is increased by LM4040 - 10.0μA. All versions have a maximum operating current of 15 mA.
The LM4040 uses fuse and Zener in wafer-ZAP reverse breakdown voltage fine-tuning to ensure that the main part has 25 pairs of more than ± 0.1% (Class A) with better accuracy. Bandgap reference temperature, drift curvature correction, and low dynamic impedance ensure stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy over an operating temperature and current range.
Two reverse breakdown voltage versions of the LM4041 are also available: adjustable and 1.2V. Please refer to the LM4041 datasheet.
