The PCM1804 is a high-performance, monolithic stereo A/D converter with a fully differential analog input voltage. A precision PCM1804Δ-Σ modulator is used and a linear phase digital antialiasing filter and high-pass filter (HPF) are included to eliminate dc offset input signals. The PCM1804 is suitable for a wide variety of mid-to-high-end consumer and professional applications, where excellent performance and operation with a 5 V analog supply and a 3.3 V digital supply are required. Both PCM and DSD audio formats can be implemented with PCM1804 due to the precision of Δ-Σ modulators. The fabricated PCM1804 uses an advanced CMOS process in a small 28-pin SSOP package.
