LT^®The 3597 is a 60V, triple step-down LED driver capable of 10,000:1 digital PWM dimming at 100Hz and up to 10 LEDs with fast NPN current sources per channel. LED dimming can also be performed using analog control of the CTRL1-3 pin.

The buck switching frequency is programmable from 200kHz to 1MHz. This frequency can also be synchronized to an external clock. The LT3597 also provides maximum LED brightness while following manufacturer-defined thermal derating specifications. The derating temperature is set by placing a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) resistor on the main control pin.

LT3597 to V_OUTAdaptive control for optimal efficiency. Other features include 2% LED current matching accuracy between channels, open-circuit LED reporting, short-circuit LED protection, programmable LED current, and programmable temperature protection.
