LT®The 3791 is a synchronous, four-switch buck-boost LED driver and regulator controller. The controller can operate with an input voltage above, below, or equal to the output voltage. The LT3791 has a wide 4.7V to 60V input range and 0V to 60V output range with seamless transitions between modes of operation. A ground reference FB pin acts as an input to multiple LED protection circuits and also allows the converter to act as a constant voltage source. The LT3791 is ideal for many applications.

The LT3791 operates in forced continuous mode, making it ideal for systems with stringent EMI requirements. The device provides fault protection to withstand and report open or short LED conditions. A timer allows the LT3791 to perform a "continue run", "latch-off" or "restart" operation in the event of a fault.
