  LTM^®The 8042 is a complete μModule^®Step-up LED drivers are designed to drive LEDs up to 1A, and the LTM8042-1 is designed to drive LEDs up to 350mA. The device combines a step-up power topology with a unique current loop to act as a constant current source. The PWM input provides LED dimming up to 3000:1, while analog dimming of 10:1 can be achieved with a single resistor or an analog voltage applied to the CTL pin. Like all boost topologies, the LTM8042/LTM8042-1 have an uninterrupted current path between their input and output, allowing no short-circuit or overload from input to ground.
