The XC6365/XC6366 series are high-efficiency step-down DC/DC converters with output currents of 1A or more using four external components: transistors, coils, diodes, and capacitors.
The device can be set in 0.1V intervals (VOUT type) from 1.5V~6.0V (accuracy ±2.5%). In addition to the VOUT type, there is also a built-in 1.0V voltage reference (FB type) in which the output voltage can be set arbitrarily by external components.
Due to the high switching frequency of 300kHz, small external components can be used.
At small loads, the PWM/PFM switching control XC6366 series operates in PFM operation. As a result, high efficiency is achieved over the entire load range from small loads to large output currents.
The soft-start time is available in models (A, B type) that are internally set to 10ms and in models that can be adjusted with external resistors and capacitors (C, D types).
Using the standby function, the current consumption reaches less than 0.5μA (CE terminal "L") by stopping operation.
The built-in U.V.L.O. function forcibly disconnects the external transistor when the input voltage is below the specified voltage.
