ADA4096-2 30 V, micropower, overvoltage-protected RRIO quad operational amplifier
The ADA4096-2 dual-channel and ADA4096-4 quad op-amps feature micropower consumption and rail-to-rail input/output range. These amplifiers have minimal power requirements and guarantee an operating voltage range of 3 V to 30 V, making them ideal for monitoring battery usage and controlling battery charging. Good dynamic performance, including a voltage noise density of 27 nV/√Hz, makes it suitable for battery-powered audio applications. These devices can handle capacitive loads up to 200 pF without oscillation.
The ADA4096-2 and ADA4096-4 have overvoltage-protected inputs and diodes that allow input voltages above or below 32 V above or below the supply rail, making them ideal for robust industrial applications.
Both ADA4096-2 and ADA4096-4 have unique input stages that can safely exceed either supply voltage without inverting or latching; This is called overvoltage protection or OVP.
The dual-channel ADA4096-2 is available in 8-pin LFCSP (2 mm × 2 mm) and 8-pin MSOP packages. The ADA4096-4 is available in 16-pin LFCSP (3 mm × 3 mm) and 14-pin TSSOP packages.
Rated for an extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, the ADA409x series is part of Analog Devices' expanding family of 30 V, low-power operational amplifiers.
