The DAC7642VFT features a parallel interface and a 16-bit, dual, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter with a reset-to-intermediate capability

The DAC7642 and DAC7643 are dual 16-bit voltage-output digital analog converters (DACs) that provide monotonic performance over a specified temperature range of 15 bits. They accept 16 bits of parallel input data, have the input logic of a double-buffered DAC (allowing all DACs to be updated simultaneously), and provide an internal input register readback mode. Programmable asynchronous reset clears all) register 8000H (DAC7642a medium-sized code) or 0000H (DAC7643One zero scale code. These DACs can operate from a single +5 V supply or from +5 V and −5 V supplies, providing an output range of 0 to +2.5 V or -2.5 V to +2.5 V, respectively.

Low power consumption and small size make each DAC ideal for automatic test equipment DAC7642 and DAC7643, DAC programmers per needle, data acquisition system, and closed-loop servo control.
