• Product introduction

The A4915 enables pulse-width modulation (PWM) current control of three-phase brushless DC motors. The A4915 is capable of delivering high current to six full N-channel power MOSFETsGate drive。 An internal charge pump ensures gate drive for supplies as low as 7 V and provides limited gate drive down to 5 V. The bootstrap capacitor is used to generate a higher supply voltage than the supply voltage of the high-side MOSFET, which is the supply voltage required for the N-channel MOSFET.

Internal synchronous rectification control circuitry reduces the power dissipation of external MOSFETs during pulse-width modulation (PWM) operation. Internal circuit protection includes latch-over-thermal shutdown, insensitive time protection, and undervoltage lockout. No special power-on sequencing is required.

The A4915 is available in a 28-pin TSSOP package with exposed heat shield (suffix LP) and an exposed heat shield in a 28-contact 5 × 5 mm QFN package (suffix ET). These are lead (PD) free packages with 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
